Here at McCurley Integrity Honda, we always put a priority on safe driving, but thankfully, many of our Honda vehicles we have in our inventory features new state-of-the-art technologies that put safety at the forefront. Driver assist technologies found in Honda Sensing are the latest innovations that the automotive industry is buzzing about.

Lane Departure Warning can alert the driver with sounds and flashes to bring attention to a lane drift so they can get back on track. The automaker has also included a Lane Keeping Assist System, which self-adjusts steering to drive straight ahead.

Adaptive Cruise Control can maintain a set following interval while using cruise control, so drivers do not have to manually change their speed.

Forward collision warning is included in Honda’s Collision Mitigation Braking System™. This specific technology uses a camera mounted on the front of a vehicle to detect potential threats of vehicles in front of you. This technology can warn the drivers of a possible threat, and even apply the brakes for the driver to prevent an accident.

Some models that feature these great Honda Sensing technologies include the 2017 Honda CR-V and the 2017 Honda Civic.  These technologies are breakthrough because they can predict and fix these problems, sometimes before the driver even knows.

Honda Sensing first appeared in Honda models back in 2015, and more technologies have been added with each new model year. The 2018 Honda Odyssey is expected to include these innovative tech features in its standard trim level, rather than making them available through upgrades.

We certainly think these technologies will change the way you drive, so come see for yourself how these driver assist features work in person by visiting our Honda dealership in Richland, WA.
